Hyde Park is located in the town of Vincent (corner of William and Vincent Streets) in North Perth. The water play facilities are a popular feature that attracts many children in Perth especially during the summer when the temperature rises up to 33 degrees.
Shades are provided by many mature trees surrounding the lakes, the park's boundary, as well as across the lawn areas. These shades will surely protect the supervising adults from the scorching sun.
The play area becomes an alternative when the children have had enough of the water play, but from experience, children will work their way back to the water play after a while. So, don't bother changing their clothes at once.
Or if they brought their small bicycles or scooters, they will most probably circle around the impressive mosaic on the ground.
All these children's activities are free. So, don't stay home when it's hot. Cool down at Hyde Park.
